Etsy Finds: Huaraches

Oh, the huarache sandal - it's the perfect summer shoe! Comfortable, light, and stylish. Originally a native or peasant shoes, the huarache gained popularity in the 1950's. Huarache's always add a vintage look to an outfit - whether summery 50's or bohemian 70's. Although I like the classic brown (vegan or vintage leather only!), I've been searching out huaraches in bright colors. Here are my favorites.

Favorite Things: Olsen Haus Babylon Flats

The Babylon flats by Olsen Haus are my go-to shoes right now. They're are super comfortable - and yes, arch support! I have two pairs in black and peacock. I wear both all the time. Their one flaw is that the soles are pretty delicate, I got mine resoled for $30 and they've been great since.

Looking For... Shirtdresses

In my fantasy summer, I'm wearing 50's inspired shirtdresses every day.
I'm also spending my days wandering around a vineyard or an country cabin by a lake. Don't think that's going to happen ... but the shirtdress part is possible with these choices.
